Footwear

They say you never really know someone until you walk a mile in their shoes.  Well let us introduce to you a line of American footwear making waves with discerning men everywhere - and they're designed by a lovely lady who goes by the name Rachel Comey.

Rachel launched her first line of menswear in 2001 - having previously worked at Theory - In 2002 David Bowie wore one of her shirts on Letterman and Barneys took notice. Shoes came years later, but have gained infamy for their well-crafted, left-of-centre design - not often seen in a market saturated with mass-produced knock-offs.

We will be introducing Rachel Comey to Brisbane come February - until then, you may join the list of those wishing to be contacted upon her arrival - show your interest by emailing info@dirtbox.com.au, or give us a call...

We will be recieving the Uncle Dan, Jericho, and Snider (Pictured above)

Gitman Vintage

Originating in Ashland, Pennsylvania in 1948, the Gitman Bros are one of the last shirt-makers keeping production in the United States.  Everyone on their production team has been honing their craft for generations - instilling a sense of American history and skill into each shirt.

Gitman Vintage is a line introduced in 1978 devoted to re-appropriating styles of bygone eras - looking into their extensive archives to bring back their most loved styles for a modern audience.  (Fun fact - Gitman have an archive of over 100 collar styles to mix and match with).

Arriving in February, this label is sure to be one of your favourites.

For any enquiries - or to be contacted upon Gitman Vintage's arrival - please contact info@dirtbox.com.au

Hothouse

Arriving very shortly is the greatly anticipated 'Hothouse' collection from Antipodium.  The collection is inspired by the Barbican hothouse and what would happen if revelers succumbed to urge and desire - Entwined limbs - flowers - moths, and caterpillars explore Geoffrey Finch's own vision of the Garden of Paradise.

"I'm fascinated by the dark side of suburbia and one day I was in the Barbican hothouse and wondered if there had ever been any swingers parties there.  It is all very steamy and mysterious after all.  The orchids, butterflies/moths and appendages all hint at fertility"
